Thanks for the comments. Traci: the mushroom plugs you can buy online (ebay!). Just do a google search for mushroom plugs. I’m not sure of anyone’s reputation online. I know people from The Farm in Tennessee and they sell mushroom kits–support them if you can! http://www.mushroompeople.com/

Oooh… what are these mushroom plugs?? I have to admit I’ve sort of given up on finding a foraging teacher and feel that I’m probably asking for trouble to go by myself but I can grow my own??? YUM! Where can I get these plugs?
