I wouldn’t eat them until you find out what they are. not worth the risk. they do look really cool. mushrooms can be so pretty.

I’ve asked over at one of my favourite hang out forums and they need more info.
Where was it growing? Does it have a distinctive aroma? And ideally to begin with, one of the specimens cut in section lengthwise plus a quick peek under the cap to see if it has gills or pores.

They ARE cute – they don’t look real, like made out of pottery.
Hope you find out what they are – I can offer no clue I’m afraid but I will ask some internet buddies who are budding shroom enthusiasts.
